Accounts Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Job Details:

  • Based in Activ8 HQ in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan

We are currently looking to recruit a part time Accounts Assistant to assist the on-site Company Accountant.

Reporting to:

Accounts Manager


  • Ensure the timely processing of invoices
  • Assist with supplier statement reconciliations and following up any queries that may occur
  • Prepare payment runs with a high level of accuracy
  • Complete invoicing and credit control tasks
  • Help to complete the month end task list and assist with the management accounts


  • Previous experience in an accounts role
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines is key
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and also as part of a team
  • Strong excel skills would be beneficial to your application
  • Working knowledge of Sage accounting is desirable
