Terra Spirits & Liqueurs
Introduction
Terra Spirits & Liqueurs is owner and producer of the award winning Molly’s Irish Cream and Mr. Whiskey’s Irish Whiskey brands as well as owner of a range of Irish Cream liqueur brands available for exclusive distribution.
About the Project
After an initial solar delivery in 2018, Terra Spirits & Liqueurs decided to develop their solar array further in 2020. With this extended installation, they also won an SEAI Energy Award in 2020 for their exceptional efforts. Solar PV was a perfect solution for Terra given that production in the factory is during the daylight hours and perfectly matches up with solar production. As well as that, the available roof space meant that no new construction was needed on-site and the effective roof-space was now fully utilised towards producing clean, renewable electricity.
