We are incredibly proud to announce that Activ8 Solar Energies has been awarded the Green Energy Provider Award 2026 at the prestigious Green Business & Sustainability Awards, marking our second consecutive year receiving this national recognition.
Winning this award once was an honour. Winning it two years in a row is a powerful affirmation of our unwavering commitment to building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future for Ireland.
As one of Ireland’s leading renewable energy companies, Activ8 Solar Energies has earned national recognition for innovation, sustainability and customer excellence. Over the past 18 months, the company’s achievements have been recognised at the Green Awards, All-Ireland Sustainability Awards, Business Energy Achievement Awards, Climate Change Leadership Awards, Health & Safety Excellence Awards, and the Guaranteed Irish Business Awards, as well as through Deloitte Best Managed Company status. These accolades reflect Activ8’s leadership across renewable energy, sustainability, business performance, customer experience and operational excellence.
As Activ8 continued to grow, it also strengthened its governance structures through the appointment of an Independent Non-Executive Director. Bringing valuable external insight and strategic oversight to the board, the role has enhanced decision-making and accountability, helping position the business for its next phase of sustainable growth and long-term success.
A Testament to Consistency, Innovation & Impact
Retaining the Green Energy Provider Award reflects the consistency of our vision and the strength of our delivery. It recognises:
- Our continued leadership in Ireland’s renewable energy transition
- The measurable environmental impact of our solar and storage solutions
- The dedication, expertise, and passion of our growing team
- The trust placed in us by homeowners, businesses, and partners nationwide
At this year’s ceremony, held at the Clayton Hotel, we once again stood among Ireland’s most forward-thinking sustainability leaders, policymakers, and innovators. The evening celebrated collaboration, ambition, and the collective drive to accelerate climate action across the country.
Building on a Landmark Year
This latest achievement follows our recent Green Energy Provider of the Year recognition and the prestigious Deloitte Best Managed Companies Award, further cementing Activ8’s position as a pioneer within the Irish solar industry.
Back-to-back success at the Green Business & Sustainability Awards highlights not only what we’ve achieved — but how we continue to evolve.
Focused on the Future
While we celebrate this milestone, our focus remains firmly on what lies ahead. The urgency of climate action has never been greater. As Ireland continues its transition toward renewable energy, Activ8 is more determined than ever to lead from the front — pushing boundaries, embracing innovation, and delivering real, measurable change.
Our mission remains clear:
To make renewable energy accessible, efficient, and impactful for homes and businesses across Ireland.
Thank You
This achievement belongs to our incredible team, our trusted partners, and our loyal customers. Every solar panel installed, every system optimised, and every sustainability conversation contributes to this shared success.
Together, we are shaping a brighter, more sustainable Ireland — one installation at a time.
Here’s to continuing the journey.
