We’re delighted to announce that Activ8 Solar Energies has won the Best Workplace for Employee Engagement & Team Building Award at the Workplace Excellence Awards 2026.
The award follows our Excellence in Recruitment & Retention Award in 2025, marking two consecutive years of recognition for our commitment to our people.
The 2026 award recognises organisations with a well-developed employee engagement strategy that is embedded in the heart of the business, alongside those creating a positive and enjoyable workplace through social and team-building activities. Entrants were also required to demonstrate how engagement is measured and the impact it has on the wider organisation.
As one of Ireland’s leading renewable energy companies, Activ8 Solar Energies has earned national recognition for innovation, sustainability and customer excellence. Over the past 18 months, the company’s achievements have been recognised at the Green Awards, All-Ireland Sustainability Awards, Business Energy Achievement Awards, Climate Change Leadership Awards, Health & Safety Excellence Awards, and the Guaranteed Irish Business Awards, as well as through Deloitte Best Managed Company status. These accolades reflect Activ8’s leadership across renewable energy, sustainability, business performance, customer experience and operational excellence.
As Activ8 continued to grow, it also strengthened its governance structures through the appointment of an Independent Non-Executive Director. Bringing valuable external insight and strategic oversight to the board, the role has enhanced decision-making and accountability, helping position the business for its next phase of sustainable growth and long-term success.
As Activ8 has grown to more than 300 employees across Ireland and the UK, maintaining a strong, connected culture has remained a key priority.
