We’re delighted to announce that Activ8 Solar Energies has won the Best Workplace for Employee Engagement & Team Building Award at the Workplace Excellence Awards 2026.
The award follows our Excellence in Recruitment & Retention Award in 2025, marking two consecutive years of recognition for our commitment to our people.
The 2026 award recognises organisations with a well-developed employee engagement strategy that is embedded in the heart of the business, alongside those creating a positive and enjoyable workplace through social and team-building activities. Entrants were also required to demonstrate how engagement is measured and the impact it has on the wider organisation.
As Activ8 has grown to more than 300 employees across Ireland and the UK, maintaining a strong, connected culture has remained a key priority.
Our approach to engagement centres around four pillars: Leadership, Employee Voice, Connection & Belonging, and Growth & Development.
From “Coffee with CEO” sessions and employee engagement surveys to team-building events, cultural celebrations, recognition programmes and our ACE career development programme, we’re focused on creating an environment where our people feel connected, supported and able to grow.
This award is recognition of the people who make Activ8 what it is.
