In 2025, Activ8 Energies delivered a combined total of 27.8 MW of installed renewable energy capacity, across residential and commercial projects:
- 15.2 MW – Residential installed capacity
- 12.6 MW – Commercial installed capacity
These installations contribute to decentralised energy generation, reduced dependence on fossil‑fuel‑based electricity, and improved resilience of the energy system.
Carbon Emissions Avoided
Based on recognised grid‑displacement emissions factors, the renewable capacity installed by Activ8 Energies in 2025 is estimated to deliver the following annual avoided carbon emissions:
- Residential installations (15.2 MW): ~4,350 tonnes CO₂e per year
- Commercial installations (12.6 MW): ~3,654 tonnes CO₂e per year
- Total annual avoided emissions (27.8 MW): ~8,004 tonnes CO₂e per year
These carbon reductions represent the emissions that would otherwise have been produced by grid‑supplied electricity and will continue to be avoided annually over the operational lifetime of the installed systems.
The 27.8 MW of residential and commercial renewable capacity installed by Activ8 Energies in 2025 is estimated to deliver ~8,004 tonnes of CO₂e avoided every year.
To put this impact into context, the annual carbon savings are equivalent to approximately:
- Removing over 1,700 passenger vehicles from the road each year
- Offsetting the electricity‑related emissions of thousands of homes annually
- The carbon absorbed by more than 350,000 trees in one year (approximate equivalency)
These avoided emissions will continue year after year over the lifetime of the installed systems, delivering long‑term, cumulative climate benefits rather than a one‑off reduction.

Social impact
Supporting Make‑A‑Wish Ireland
Throughout 2025, Activ8 Energies proudly supported Make‑A‑Wish Ireland, working alongside our employees, customers, and wider community to help make life‑changing wishes come true for children across Ireland.
Through a series of creative fundraising initiatives — including Gratitude Day, Halloween fundraising events, and individual challenges such as abseiling from Croke Park and cycling the length of Ireland, we raised over €6,057 in support of the charity.
This funding will help Make‑A‑Wish Ireland deliver transformative experiences for children facing serious illness, with wishes currently in progress including:
- Trips to destinations such as Old Trafford, Disneyland, and the Six Nations
- Career‑inspired experiences, such as becoming a zookeeper, shopkeeper, or train driver
- Access to 3D printers, gaming computers, and special shopping experiences
- Opportunities to meet role models and celebrities they have long dreamed of meeting
